Competitive
Competitive classes are offered for those age 6 and up in most styles of dance. These additional classes are for those who would like to take their dancing to the next level. Competition gives students the opportunity to shine, work as a team and perform in front of their peers. All competitive classes are in addition to the one hour recreational class.
Taking a
competitive class involves a total commitment from students, so make
sure you take some time to think if a competitive class is right for
you. There must be three students in a competitive class for the class
to run. A Frost Dance Experience attends 3 competitions per year. As
well, there is a ‘Showcase’ for our competitive numbers so the students
have an opportunity to perform in front of an audience before
competition. It’s like a dress rehearsal for competition.
